THEN, THERE IS THE ONGOING CONCERN REGARDING ASSESSED VALUE – AND HOW THE MARCH 2019 FLOOD DAMAGE WILL AFFECT FUTURE TAXATION.  YOU NEED DOCUMENTATION!  SPECIFICALLY:  PICTURES – BEFORE, DURING AND AFTER, DOCUMENTATION – DATES, WHAT HAPPENED, HOW IT IMPACTED YOUR PROPERTY, WHERE IT IMPACTED YOUR PROPERTY AND FOR HOW LONG, HOW IT WAS ALLEVIATED, WHAT REPAIR WAS NEEDED, WHO DID THE REPAIR, THE $ COST INVOLVED. 

ONCE YOU ARE SATISFIED YOU HAVE EFFECTIVELY DOCUMENTED THE IMPACT OF THE FLOOD OF 2019, IF POSSIBLE – EMAIL IT TO OUR ASSESSOR – FEEL FREE TO GET A COPY TO THE TOWN FOR YOUR PROPERTY FILE.  IF YOU CAN’T EMAIL IT, CALL THE TOWN OFFICE – PERHAPS THE TOWN CAN HELP.
